Both denied they toad ever stated the warden was short. . The Attorney-General, Attorney-General, at ' the request of -the warden, has made an examination of the matter.- and has made a signed statement swearing the warden has on hand all the money for which the books calL - - He found the warden had some J1E50 in cash and accounts - amounting to J17C3. These accounts are being paid out of the funds, and for . which the warden is to be reimbursed by the board. The total Is several hundred dollars more than Is shown to be due from the warden.
