Show 'VARSITY AND COLORADO ARE EVENLY MATCHED Hard Proposition to Pick the Winner in Jhanksglr- ing: Day Game. The football fan who can pick the winner of the Thanksgiving day contest con-test between U. of U. and Colorado is surely a seer and a prophet. On the relative records of the two teams there is little to choose between them. They are also about evenly matched in weight and experience, and the contest should be a magnificent one. . The U. of U. team Is still somewhat out of condition from the game with the Aggies last Saturday, but Colorado Is in the same shape from the grueling game with the School of Mines on the same date., Both .teams play fast and modern football and speed will be a great factor in the game. Both teams seem to have strong orfense with perhaps per-haps a trifle in favor of Utah, but on defense Colorado seems to have a trifle the best of it. The Colorado backs are very fast, however, and they have two or three men-who are moBt dangerous in a broken bro-ken field. In the kicking department It Is unlikely that Bennlon will be outclassed out-classed as he is not only a marvel at place kicks but can punt fifty yards with great regularity. The Colorado team also have the field goal habit and handle the running back of punts much more cleverly than do the Utah backs, that is from the accounts of the Colorado Colo-rado papers. Most of the wise ones look to see Utah win unless they suffer a sad reversal re-versal of form and the Utah team will receive the most enthusiastic sort of support from the students and their friends. ' A meeting of the students was held Wednesday and aroused much enthusiasm enthu-siasm and the biggest crowd of. the season sea-son is expected. Coach-Juneau of the Colorado team, who arrived with the team Wednesday night, announced that with the exception excep-tion of a few minor bruises his team was In splendid shape but he refused to predict the outcome of the game. The game will be called at 2:30. . The line-up: U. of U. - Colorado.
