Under the provisions of the ordinance 1 passed by vthe Council last week regarding re-garding the methods to be followed in securing the taxes levied for the purpose pur-pose of making public improvements, except street paving, the city Is authorized au-thorized to enforce liens of all special assessments by leyy and wile of personal per-sonal property, as well as real property. By this course the Council can sell any personal property held by taxpayers taxpay-ers in default of their payment of Improvement Im-provement assessments, thus obviating long delays that have heretofore been encountered when only realty was lev- led upon. . The resolution adopted by the Council Coun-cil was as follows: , "Resolved, That the assessments for special, taxes to provide for public improvements be hereafter levied, except ex-cept street paving. In three equal Installments. In-stallments.
