Show NEWSPAPER IS WRECKED Unknown Men Visit Office Of-fice of Daily Record at Victor, Colo. VICTOR, Colo., June 9. Eight un-' un-' known men, armed with shot guns, rifles, pistols and sledge hara-i hara-i mers, entered the office of the' Victor ! Record at ' 11:45 o'clock last night, ' ordered the men to throw up their I hands, broke up the machinery and then . ; told the men to get out of the district as fast as they could. There is no clue at the present time to the identity oi the men., George Kyner, proprietor of the paper, was at lunch, and Foreman Walter Sweet waa in charge of the men. They were busily engaged getting out the morning paper, when suddenly eight heavily armed men opened the front door and walked back to the composing-room. composing-room. They threw their guns on the startled men who were at work, and ene, who was evidently the leader, called out: "Line up now and throw up your bands." The men obeyed quickly. The men then wrecked two Lnotype machines, several Job presfes and all the equipment of the office. They smashed the telephone and a typewriter. When their work of ruin was completed they marched the Record employees out or the sidewalk and told them to get out of town. The printers walked north and the eight men started off toward to-ward the south. -The Record has been known as the organ of the Western Federation of Miners' in this section. The men who were ordered to leave the district are Walter Sweet. F. W.. Langdon, printers: "John Danneld, pressman, and Art Caldwell, apprentice.
