It Is the Intention of Mr. Madsen to lay out a system of development develop-ment work In the mine to determine surely the amount of money which will be necessary to put the property in shape to once more Join the list of the dividend-payers. Lately the development develop-ment has been much more productive of results than for some months and the situation of the company is not regarded regard-ed as anywhere near so gloomy as it appeared when the last assessment was declared. ' Two of these samples show the presence pres-ence of free gold, and all carry some values. The old workings, which were being cleaned out. have been abandoned, aban-doned, as It was found that the men would have to sink on the ore In them, and Mr. Morrison did not want to be Finking; in two places at the same time.
