Show NESLEN WAS BANISHED Clarence Neslen arrived In New York last Sunday on the White Star steamship steam-ship "Teutonic." He has been in Germany Ger-many for the past thirty months laboring labor-ing as a missionary for the Mormon church. While in Germany, Mr. Neslen was imprisoned In a bastile and was banished from a section of the country-While country-While away he met many of Utah's sons and daughters who are studying various arts in Europe. In Paris he met M. M. Young, who is studying art. Mr. Neslen says Young is making rapid strides and will be heard from. He is sending about 300 etchings home by Mr. Neslen for his friends. While In London Mr. Neslen met M. W. Snow, the Misses Florence snd Edith Grant and Heber J. Grant. They sailed for America on October 2( and will b In Utah early in November. |
