Show COL ROOFS FUNERAL Beautiful ; Ritual of the Elks Will Be the Last Tribute. The funeral services qyer.the remains of Col. William' Root wlir be held at the Elks' clubhouse this afternoon at 4 o'clock instead of 3 o'clock as previously previ-ously announced. Chaplain Barnes of the lodge and Benjamin Luce will make the eulogistic addresses. Mr. Luce spoke so eloquently elo-quently at the funeral of Max Peters that Col. Root requested that Mr. Luce perform a like service for him when the time came. At the conclusion of the services the remains of the well-known Elk will be .escorted to the depot, preparatory to shipment to Laramie, Wyo., the former home of the Colonel. The pall-bearers will be Parley P. Chrlstensen, L. F. Harr. Fred Dem, John W. Langley, George NIckum, Louis Dittman and W. D. Van Blarcom", Jr. Held's'band furnlBhed the funeral music. |
