Show REPORT OF BATTLE WITH THE OUTLAW Officers Pursuing McKinney Overtake Over-take and Unhorse JFamous Bandit. ! BAKERSF1ELD, Cal.. April 15. A second sec-ond battle was fought between Outlaw James McKlnney and the pursuing officers offi-cers at Keyasvllia, about four miles from KerhJvflle, at the foot of the Greenhorn mountain; on Monday morning, a report of which has Just reached here. The pursuing posse was composed of Deputies McCracken and Rankin, who had the first flaht with the outlaw on the South fork Sunday, reinforced by a number of others. The details are rery meager, but the officers unhorsed the bandit and captured his mounts, which accounts for his being seen at Isabella afoot later In the day. No one fs reported to have been wounded. |
