Show PREPARED FOR SHROUD, APPARENTLY DEAD GIRL COMES BACK TO LIFE NEW YORK, Feb. 28. Miss Edith Curxon of Red Bank, N. J., is now recovering re-covering frdm pneumonia after her family thought her dead. She posed as the Goddess of Liberty In Red Bank's Washington birthday parade and caught a cold which quickly prostrated her. Yesterday she died, apparently, and an undertaker un-dertaker was called In. As he was about to prepare the body for the shroud he was startled to perceive that the right arm, which hadMain outside the bedspread, bed-spread, was now drawn up near the face. Then he noticed an eyelid twitch. The family was summoned, work begun to keep alight the spark of life, and after a time Miss Curzon was able to notice what was going on. Today she is improving with every chance of recovery. |
