Show HOSTS OF CHRISTIANS i Denver Convention of Y. P. S. C. E. Will Have Big Crowd From Here. . Local members of the Society of Christian Chris-tian Endeavor are- receiving circular bulletins from the department . of press-and press-and publicity of the international organization, organ-ization, giving information concerning the arrangements being made in Denver to accommodate the twenty-first international inter-national biennial convention which will be held in Denver from July 9th to 13th inclusive. The headquarters of the Utah delegates dele-gates will be at the Plymouth Congregational Congrega-tional church, on East Fourteenth avenue ave-nue and Lafayette street, where all the delegates from this State will congregate congre-gate and receive their mall. t x With the Utah delegates, those from Minnesota, New Mexico; Arizona and South Carolina will also be cared for at the Plymouth church. A choir of 800 voices is being organized organ-ized to furnish the convention music. Many of Denver's best singers have volunteered vol-unteered their services and the music promises to be of exceptional merit. The venerable Francis E. Clark, the founder of the society, arid its president, since its inception, twenty-one years ago, will be present, as well as John Von Ogden Vogt, its general secretary; John Willis Baer, its former general secretary, secre-tary, and many other noted leaders in the religious world. Fully 30,000 delegates and visitors are expected to attend the convention, fifteen fif-teen or twenty of whom will go from the evangelical denominational churches of Salt Lake. : |
