Edward Is the six-year-old child who was operated on last November No-vember by Dr. Alolph Lorenz for double dou-ble congenital dislocation of the hip. The child did not apparently relish the Idea of becoming an exhibit and showed his objection by strenuous resistance. re-sistance. ; The plaster cast which was put on the boy's limbs at the time of the operation ope-ration was removed last week by Dr. Robinson of Sandy and the child Is beginning be-ginning to get his legs straightened out. The right leg Is quite flexible and the left is losing the rigidity caused by ttte long confinement In one position. The doctors felt of the hips and found that both were firmly imbedded In their sockets. The operation is considered remarkably remark-ably successful. |
