Show STEfiSY BSVELflPFJENT' OP ' UTAH WING RESOURCES Gradually capital is joining the already al-ready large forces developing the mineral min-eral resources of Utah, which is therefore there-fore forging along surely to the point of recognition as one of the leading productive States. There is little boom in this growth, and it is beyond doubt more of investment in character than attains in any of the more speculative mining districts of all the West. Bearer County Impetus. Among the last of the attractive Utah sections to receive the impetus, which, taking hold by new capital of properties for development purposes exerts, . is Beaver county, where the LeJIand Mining Mi-ning and Milling company, just organ-iy-eo, will transform heretofore partially developed ground from unproductive to i yielding condition. The clniins taken over are a short diV i tance north of bainuel Xewhouse's big Cactus property, which is famed for its enormous aggregato tonnage of low grades, and in whose lower depths the mineral values are increasing. With fourteen claims in this group, and with the ores carrying about thirty-four ounces of silver, 45 per tent lead, and small amounts of gold, the company expects ex-pects to soon bo among tho best shippers ship-pers of Utah. Officers, of Company. ! L. N. Morrison is president of the j company, Charles Morrison vice-prcsi- j dent, A. Cockran srrtary and trcus- urer. J. Nielsen and H. t'. President Morrison told his friends in Salt Lake, lie being her to make arrangements ar-rangements for machinery and supplies for an active winter's campaign. Other Promising Development.. It is in - Beaver eounty also where there was recently attracted considerable consider-able capital for 'the development of promising property now included in the Cedar Mining company's holdings. Money expended in the exploitation of this property has brought more than satisfactory results, for last week the announcement was made that an ore body so largo that eight feet width between be-tween walls existed. All this vein was said to be in ore, carrying over 60 per cent lead, more than eighty ounces of silver and 40 cents gold per ton. This was declared at Milford. the metropolis of Beaver county, to have been the biggest strike ever encountered in that section; and mining men familiar with the district justifiably insist that the best has not vet been found and that the resources of the region are merely scratched, which is also the ease throughout the entire State of Utah. Pioneers Hold Property. For years pioneer prospectors have been holding onto their locations in all the districts, feeling confident that ultimately ulti-mately merit would command attention atten-tion of the investment world, and aa the capital, comes in. these many sterling ster-ling citizens ere reaping rewards which their perseverance and nope and confidence confi-dence and knowledge of mining values even undeveloped adeserve to receive. re-ceive. It is therefore not unusual when these pioneers meet in 8alt Lake nowadays to listen to each other's stories sto-ries of sales of prospects and celebrate their prosperity together while spending spend-ing some of " their" honestly-earned wealth. - Little Noise Made. ' " And while thee is more poise made over tbe extraordinary- speculative features prevaiiing in Nevada mining development, its progress is probably no greater, in proportion to the relative advertising ad-vertising that has been dene of the two State's resources than that of Utah. Every mine de eloped in Utah furthermore fur-thermore is a gigantic advertisement for her and adls vilue to the undeveloped territory in the same vicinity, so that the nt few years may Teasonablv be expecte.i to witness the advent in Utah rf millions for further development in just such place ss leaver county, Tintic Tin-tic diMri-t, Aba and Park Oity--lI rih. inilin;j regions, wherein, like Bingham, there has never been a failure when neeess;iry capital was applied with intelligence and by competent men.
