Show NOTED GAMBLER TAKES HIS LIFE Albert J. Adams, After Serving Sentence at Sing Sinrj for Mining Policy Game, Commits Suicide. NEW OUK, Oct. I. Albert J. Adams, who made a large fortune as the head of tho policy gambling oin-bine, oin-bine, shot himself in tbe head last night at his home iu this city. His body was found this morning. Adams had been in poor health since his release from Sing Sxug prison, where ho served a term for having conducted a policy game iu this city. Soon after his release ho became president of the Guanjato Amalgamated Gold Mines company. lie was reported to be tho financial backer of the lirni of M. J. Sae &, Co., of this city and New Jersey, the offices of which were raided in August on complaint that the eomoany was conducting con-ducting ti bucketshop. Mr. Adams' son, Albert J.
