Th Stewart Opera company, consisting of some fifty singers, arrlred In the city this morning to begin their week's engagement at th Salt Lake Theater tonight. There was a eery busy acena about th Theater this morning. Th trsntfer company's working staff and the atag force of th Theater bare been enlarged in order to handle the three mammoth production which the Stewart company will present during the week. An augmented orchestra of some twenty or more musiciana ia busily engaged rehearsing the charming music of Ludarig Engender fur the singing of the Harry B. Pmith-Ludwig Englander comedy opera, "The Two Roses,'' winch will he presented tonight and tomorrow tomor-row night, while the box office rings with tb gingling coin of th realm. The engagement of the Stewart Opera company com-pany promises to be sn unusually artistic and successful one, as the operas are all high-class, high-class, devoid of any Kuggti-enes and so-called so-called "horse play," but deinty and refined. The company presenting them is composed of true artists. Tonight and tomorrow night "The Two Roses" will be ung.
