June 25.-7Sheriff Sebring found a young man named Ora F. Page h Ogden canyon yesterday, bleeding pra.fusely from a wound in the back of m the head. Page was taken to the Hermitage Her-mitage and the blood' washed from 'page told the Sheriff ' that he had me up the canyon with Warren Farse of Salt Lake, and that while he was in !' J, advance of Farse. the latter threw a C ' .rock at him. J striking him in the back "-fUlie head, knocking him down the i -side of the mountain about forty feet, - Q and afterward attempted to kill him J wifh a boulder. He said that he fought t Farse off and made his escape. 1 Page was brought to the county jail. ' where it was found that his condition V was serious. . - Cater Farse was arrested and brought to. the county jail. He said -that Page had been keeping company ' ' 5 with his adopted daughter, but that he believed that Page's attentions had I been devoted to his (Farse's) wife. He alleged that his wife had left him two ' ; weeks ago. and he suspected that she i had gone with Page. J No complaint will be filed against Farse until the extent of Page's In- Juries are ascertained.
