Show POLITICAL SPEECHES SCHEDULED TONIGHT WASHINGTON. June 25. Speaker Cannon delivered a mild lecture to the members of the House today by stating that in these closing days of the present pres-ent session more business of vital Importance Im-portance to the Nation would be transacted trans-acted than in the three months previous, pre-vious, and It was absolutely necessary that close attention bo given on the part of the members to the business In hand, which could not be done unless un-less order be observed. By unanimous consent it was decided de-cided that the House should sit tonight to-night from 8 until 11 o'clock to consider con-sider In committee of the whole the bill to be to slmplefy the law in relation rela-tion to the collection of revenues. Mr. Payne of New York stated that there were a number of members who believed that they had messages to deliver de-liver to the country, and it had been decided to permit political speeches to be made on the above bill. |
