Thst ths City- Coonril does hereby levy the tsx and provide for the assessment as-sessment of the ssme npon the property here-insfter here-insfter described in lots 1 and 18 to $2, inclusive, in-clusive, block 2. K el icy and Gillespie's Subdivision Sub-division of block 44. plat "C," Salt Laka City Survey, abutting on the south side ol First South street between Ninth West and Tenth West streets, in Sidewalk District No. , 21. said property having a frontage of 660 feet alon; said street. This tsx is levied to defrsy the expense el eonstnicringa cement sidewalk six 40) feet wide and four (4) inches thick upon said portion por-tion of ssid street opposite the property hereinafter here-inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by aaid improvement, and it ia hereby here-by adjudged, determined and established thai the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and aaid parcels of lsnd are hereby assessed at au equal and uniform rate ia accordance with the linear foot frontage npon aaid portion por-tion of said street fronting upon and to t depth of twenty-fire (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to ba assessed upon said parcela of land ia six hundred and sixty 9860.00) dollars, or one (91-00) dollar dol-lar per front or linear foot, which is the eati- mated total cost and estimated cost per lineal foot of said sidewalk, and the Treasurer -is hereby authorised and directed to aaaeaa ia accordance with the provisiona of thia ordinance ordi-nance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lota 1, and 18 to 82, incluaive. block 2, Kelsey It Gillespie's Subdivision of block 44, plat "C," Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said city to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from aaid street, and to collect said tax. Sec. 2. 8aid tax shall become and be delinquent de-linquent in aix (6) eqnal installments, as follows, fol-lows, to-wit: One-sixth thereof shall bo-come bo-come and be delinquent one-month after the -approval of 4his ordicsace; one-sixth thereof in one year after such approval: one-sixth thereof in two years after such approval : one-aixth one-aixth thereof in three years after such approval; ap-proval; one-sixth thereof in four years after such approval; and one-sixth thereof in five years after such approval. Each and every installment of said tax except the first, shall -draw interest at the rate of aix per rent per annum from date of levy until delia-' qoent. and each and every installment of ssid tsx shall bear interest at the rate of eight per cent per annum from and after its date of delinquency. Sec. 8. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval. Passed by the City Counoil of Salt Lake City, Utah, October 8th. 1906, and referred to the Mayor for hia approval. J. B. MORETOX.
