Show GRANTED $3000 FOR DEATH OF HIS SON A verdict in favor of L. J. Palmer for $3000. and against the Oregon Short Line Railroad company, was returned by a jury in Judge Lewis' court yesterday. yester-day. The verdict was returned after the jury had been out for an hour. The suit was brought by Palmer for $10,000 damages for death of his son. Thomas Jason Palmer, who was killed bv a train belonging to the defendant at. Topaz, Ida., April 18. 1896. It was charged that the company was negligent in guarding the crossing. |
