He sent word to fihasta for a doctor, but for some .reason the .doctor failed to respond. --, --, Ford - became impatient, and, as the wound was bleeding badly, he proceeded o be his . own surgeon. He carefully dressed the wound, got a large needle and linen thread and then, after swallowing a.bfg dose of whisky for a bracer, set to I work and eewed up the wound. He then treated and bandaged the leg and is getting get-ting along nicely. . |
