Show Shootg at Prowler. ' Robert Watson. 17 years old, a son of W. G. Watson, a machinist in the Southern South-ern Pacific, living at 142 Twenty-fourth street, shot at a hobo last night with a shotgun. The hobo escaped. The elder Watson was not at home at the time and the hobo prowled about the windows of the sleeping apartments occupied by young Watson's sisters. He was heard at 11 o'clock and young Watson ran out with his shotgun and fired at him as he was scaling the fence. Patrolman Ma-lone Ma-lone made an inspection afterward and said he believed the hobo was hit by the bird shot. |
