L D. D S. S hospital from burns suffered when flaming gasoline sprayed them and destroyed a service station at West Vest Fourth South street Sunday ni night ht Firemen revealed a story of horror horror horror hor hor- Monday as they investigated the tragedy which occurred at p. p m. m when an automobile skidded into a gasoline pump and spewed the contents inside the service station Thirty gallons of gasoline was ignited in a flash which bathed the entire service station in flames Borges who was visiting Inside the station was trapped but crawled through the blazing doorway into the driveway White standing near the pump was bathed from head to foot with blazing gasoline The Tho accident occurred when Jack Sharp 21 of 1000 D Denver nver street drove an automobile into the station station station sta sta- tion skidded on a glaze of ice struck the pump and knocked it down toward the service station doorway Wires Vires Blamed Electric wires inside the pump were thought by firemen to have short-circuited short and caused the re re- re suiting g flash The station was destroyed at a loss of ot 2300 When firemen arrived Battalion Chief L.
