Show COUNCIL CONDUCTS BUSINESS SESSION At the Wednesday evening business meeting of the city council, members corrected an erroneous report printed in the Ringham Bulletin last week. The $75 appropriation pro-rated for expenses of representatives attending at-tending the Utah State Municipal Munici-pal League convention at Vernal September 1 and 2 is not for use of Mayor R. A. Murano alone, but is to be apportioned among the several officials who will attend at-tend the meet. Planning to leave for Vernal last evening were City Attorney Elliott W. Evans, Treasurer Al-vin Al-vin Hall, Ken Shulsen and Ross Cushing. The city approved expenditure of $625 to pay balance of the August payroll. A license application appli-cation by Leonard Miller, to operate op-erate Mfller's Groceteria, was approved. Another application, from Gus Harris to sell soft drinks at the Civic Center skating rink, was passed. |
