A. statement state-ment has been telegraphed from Canada, upon the authority of a llritish member of parliament, that it lias been resolved to submit the Retiring Sea fisheries dispute to arbitration. It is premature, so rar as it may be token to imply a completed com-pleted agreement ou tho part of both government. It is learned that a correspondence on the subject is still in progiess.
