A death from jellow fever was reported in Brooklyn today, and it was rumored that there had been two others from thesamn cause. Michael Coad, a fireman on the steainhlp.?aAfeoo, from tlie West InJh-.which arrived in this city on Friday last, was sick upon his arrival. He went to 79 Guld Street, Brooklyn, and died there yesterday morning. It Isnlso rcottd that three other men were tick on tho voyage, and upon the arrival of the vessel two of them were taken to the Marine Hospital, rfhere it Is rumored they tiled. Health Commissioner Griilln, of Brooklyn, sas ho has made au investigation and positively denies that Coad dieJ from jellow fever, but nevertheless lie lias given orders to have the body Interred immediately. |
