Show UTAIIN CITED FOR NEW INVENTION A new invention called a "motion "mo-tion transformer" has just been perfected by James A. Hardman of Logan. Nationwide acclaim has come to the inventor for his contribution con-tribution to science. The Civilian Production Administration in a 158-page report says the device has survived the severest tests and will eliminate entirely crank shafts, wrist pins and connecting rods, "it opens a new field in mechanical me-chanical design and may revolutionize revolu-tionize the operation of motors and mechanical devices." Not over ten days ago before Mr. Hardman and his invention became famous, the Utah Dept. of Pubicity and Industrial Development Develop-ment was severely criticized and condemned by the editorial writers writ-ers of Salt Lake's leading newspapers news-papers for contributing encour-agemen encour-agemen and a few thousand dollars dol-lars of its funds in order that the inventor might bring the machine to -perfection at the Utah Agricultural Agri-cultural college. All of which goes to prove that it's easier for some editors to toss brickbats than bouquets. |
