Show DRESS REVUE TONIGHT AT HIGH SCHOOL Beginning At 8 P. M., In Auditorium And Featuring 95 Models Girls of the Springville high school will present a dress revue this evening, Thurday, Feb. 14, beginning be-ginning at 8 p. m., at the High School Auditorium, under direction direc-tion of Miss Anna Beardall and Miss Ruth Wilson. Parents and others who are interested in-terested in seeing the work done by the girls in the clothing classes, class-es, are invited. Complimentary tickets may be obtained from girls of the advanced clothing classes or at the door. The theme of the presentation, "Modern Cinderella and Dan Cupid", Cu-pid", will be in keeping with Valentine Val-entine Day. Myrle Holt, a student, composed the article on which the theme is based, winning over 76 contestants. Those taking part include, Voneta Miner as Jeane; Norma Sumsion, Marjorie; Gloria Palfreyman, Cinderella; Afton Ash, Dan Cupid; Betty Harmon, . Dame Fashion. A 12-piece string ensemble, under un-der direction of Harmon Hatch will give preliminary music. There will be approximately 95 models comprising 'girls of the clothing classes. Clever and attractive programs to further emphasize the Valentine Valen-tine theme, have been made by the girls and these list the following follow-ing who have assisted with various vari-ous arrangements for the revue in addition to those mentioned: Ina and Voneta Miner, Francis Wheeler and Glenna Kennedy, stage settings; Mary Louise Rowland, Row-land, Aileen Black, Lillian San-ford, San-ford, programs; Gloria Palfreyman Palfrey-man and Betty Harmon, dramatic directors. |
