Show Public Meeting Monday To Further Plans For Fencing Hobble Creek Plans are going forward for the fencing of Hobble Hob-ble Creek through the concerted efforts of civic clubs of Springville, directed by President Deal Mendenhall of the Lions club, who is general chairman of the project. To discuss details and clear i:p sriie problems involved in the pftject, a mass rwying is called for next Montfay evening, eve-ning, February 14, at S p. in., in tiio high school auditorium, and every citizen whether or not ho is interested in the project, is asked to come to this meeting;. At a nieeteing of representatives from various clubs, held Monday evening, opinions were expressed as to the feasibility of the project, but following a discussion and clearing of several points, it was indicated that plans would go forward for-ward for the work. Investigations are being made as to the cost of materials and it was decided that definite pledges should be obtained from citizens in regard to contributions contri-butions and work. Little opposition to the project was found among the property owners bordering the creek, according ac-cording to a report made by Legion Le-gion Post No. 46 commiteeemen who had made a canvass, a big majority of them being heartily in favor of the fence, it was stated. |
