Show Personal ; News Notes Mrs. Raylene Anderson and baby, ba-by, also her mother, Mrs. Una Stein, who have made their home in Springville for the past year, left Saturday to return to their home in Wichita, Kan. Betty Stein utoo was clerk of the high school the past year, also returned to Wichita recently. Reid Perry. S 2c, and his wife, the former Elsie Sumsion, visited last Saturday and Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Sumsion, coming from San Bernadino, Calif, to visit a sister, I Teresa Sumsion, S C 3c, who is J home on leave from Corpus Chris-tl, Chris-tl, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Poulsen and Shirlene Poulsen accompanied S 1c Allan B. Barker as far as Salt Lake City on his return trip to Camp Shoemaker, Calif. Mrs. Hyrum Meyrick and her daughter, Paula JoEll of this city are spending this week with relatives rela-tives and friends in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. David P. Noakes of Logan are visiting their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Michael oLng and family fam-ily here this week. Mrs. RaNae Stone has just returned re-turned from a month's visit with her sister, Mrs. Lamar Mason and husband and two children, at Ka-doka, Ka-doka, S. Dak. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Scott and i two daughters and their children, lalso Mrs. Dorothy Cook of Sandy, fcame to Springville Friday to at-, at-, tend the graduation exercises of Ida Beardall, from the senior high school. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Wheeler visited vis-ited over the week-end with their daughter, Mrs. Mack Crandall, and family at Ogden. Also with Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Evans in Salt Lake City. The- occasion was Mrs. Wheeler's birthday. ' Louise Long of Salt Lake City, visited over the week-end wtih her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Long. V Helen Christensen, daughter of ' Mr- and Mrs. Harold Christensen, as home for the week-end from 'he University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Putman and Son David and Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Johnson and granddaughter, Mickey Mic-key Parsons, of Helper visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Michael i Long. , Mrs. Ray Neyman of Stockton, Calif., has returned to her home after a visit with her sister, Mrs. Wesley Maag, and family in this city. Mrs. Ida Carlson, a former resident resi-dent of Springville, visited here 'his week. Mrs. Alice Hughes of Los Ange-'es, Ange-'es, Calif., spent a few days of last ' 'veek in Springville visiting her Mother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. - A. Payzant. She also visited relatives in Spanish Fork and in ( Salt Lake City before returning to her home on the coast. ' Mrs. H. K. Niel of St. George, "tati. spent last Thursday and nday in the city, visiting her niece, Mrs. o. A. Payzant. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harmer nd children of Layton, visited here over the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Peterson and other relatives and friends. Milan G. Metcalf has returned to Burbank, Calif., after spending spend-ing his vacation here with relatives rela-tives and friends. He was accompanied accom-panied by his wife and baby. For the past several years, he has been working as a crew chief and flight engineer at Lockheed Aircraft where all flights have pertained per-tained to test flights.. He was recently re-cently transferred to experimental experimen-tal projects in which he spent some time in Washington, D. C, and other eastern cities on Lockheed Lock-heed experimental aircraft with j the Army. |
