Show JAYCEES NAME COMMITTEES FOR THE YEAR Large Group Of Local Club Members Go To P. G. Organization Standing committee chairmen of the Springville Junior Chamber of Commerce are announced today by President Verl Whiting. ' They are as follows: Americanism, Rex Sutherland; Art Projects, Reed Holdaway; Aviation, Av-iation, Fayne Laney; Agriculture, Blaine Thorpe; Christmas Activities, Activi-ties, Ernest Holt; City Beautifi-cation, Beautifi-cation, Melvin Haymond; Fire Prevention, Lawrence Beach; Governmental Gov-ernmental Affairs, Deal Menden-hall; Menden-hall; Post War Planning, R. L. Althouse; Public Health, Herbert Czirr; Safety, J. D. Ford; Membership Mem-bership Building, Kay Johnson; Profit Making, Wallace Patrick, Ernest Holt; Publicity, Ernest Boyer, Ray Klauck; Sports, Bob Radcliff, Ardeen Van Leuvan, Frank Morgan and Gordon Pierce; Awards, Steve Miller; Jaycee Education, Edu-cation, Ernest Boyer; Youth Welfare, Wel-fare, Dr. C. The local club president also announced that fourteen- couples were in attendance at the organization organi-zation banquet and program of the Pleasant Grove Junior Chamber last Saturday evening. The Pleasant Grove club is the newest in the state and the charter was presented by Grant Thorn )Of the local club, state Jaycee president, presi-dent, recently elected a national vice-president. Also, during the evening, Kay Johnson of the local club who was recently elected state vice-president, made a short talk. |
