Show Society I. O. S. 4-H SEWING i CLUB MEETING The I. O. S. 4-H Sewing club met at the home of their leader, Mrs. Reva Roylane, last Thursday afternoon to finish sewing their hot pads and scarfs. The group also enjoyed community com-munity singing and the lesson given giv-en ,by Doris Bradford. Arm Patrick Pat-rick gave the closing prayer. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Roylane and all members are asked to bring their sewing. FRIENDS ENJOY PARTY SATURDAY A group of friends were entertained enter-tained at a party at the home of Mrs. Lucille Alleman Saturday evening. Luncheon was served and the group visited and sewed. Those in attendance were Mrs. Edna Brown, Mrs. Catherine Clements, Cle-ments, Mrs. Venna Vincent, Mrs. June Blanchard, Mrs. Beth Barney, Bar-ney, Mrs. Shirley Child, Mrs. Betty Bet-ty Harmer, Mrs. Max Alleman, Mrs. Clestaia Beal, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Milan Metcalf and the hostess.' HOME CULTURE CLUB HEARS FINE PAPER Mrs. Berton Groesbeck gave an interesting paper on "The World Tomorrow" to feature the program at the Home Culture club meeting last Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Charles Franks. Also, Mrs. Frank's granddaughter and Mrs. Maurice Bird gave piano selections. selec-tions. It was voted during the business busi-ness session to contribute to the Teen Age Canteen. At the close of the afternoon, dainty refreshments were served by the hostess to eighteen club members, and Mrs. Ray Scovil m a special guest, PATRIOTIC 4-H CLUB MEETING Members of the Patriotic 4-H club met last Thursday afternooi at the home of Joyce Weight. The girls worked on hot pads and scarfs. Six members and one visitor visi-tor attended the meeting, which was concluded with refreshment The girls will conduct their next meeting today, Thursday, at the home of Delpha Baker. |
