Show CLASSES BEGIN IN RED CROSS NUTRITION WORK The first session of the Red Cross nutrition classes was held in the domestic science room of the high school Tuesday evening. The class was conducted by Mrs. Myron D. Childs, the former Maurine Mau-rine Dixon of Provo, a graduate of domestic science with several years' experience and who also has a Red Cross teacher's certificate. certifi-cate. Mrs. Childs has conducted classes in similar work in Provo, and class members and supervisors supervis-ors here feel fortunate to have her in charge of the work. The classes will cover a 20-hour period, and will be conducted Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 7:30 to 9:30 p. m., for the next five weeks. Ladies are welcome to attend the classes at any time. However, to secure a Red Cross nutrition certificate, members must attend at least 18 hours of instruction. Mrs. C. E. Eggertsen, supervisor super-visor states that at this time, by reason of government regulations, it is important that the housewives house-wives of America understand nutritive nu-tritive value of foods. The Red Cross urges that every woman who can do so take advantage of this opportunity in order that the American people may be properly nourished. |
