Show Armed Forces i A. B. Mendenhall Jr. Now In Germany Furstenfeldbruck, Germany Pvt. Aaron' B. Mendenhall Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron B. Mendenhall Men-denhall of Mapleton, has arrived at the European Theater Army Air Forces Reinforcement depot, and will soon be assigned to a permanent station somewhere in j Germany. While he is at this post, siuat- j ed near Munich on the picturesque wooded slope of a German Alpine range, Pvt. Mendenhall will have an opportunity to enjoy the scenic sce-nic beauties of Southern Bavaria which made the region popular among pre-war tourists. Formerly a rominent Luftwaffe training school, the Army Air Forces Reinforcement depot is one of the most attractive fields in Europe. At the present time several thousand soldiers each month are processed and given orientation in their occupational duties at this key station. ! Max Llewellyn Home On Naval Leave j Max Llewellyn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo M. Llewellyn spent a 20- , day naval leave at home with his parents and friends, recently. He returned to Shoemaker, Cal., where he expects to be given a discharge soon. ; P |
