Show ALPHA BETA CLUB ELECTS OFFICERS Mrs. M. R. Straw was hostessi at an entertaining program and election of officers of the Alpha Beta club last Friday afternoon at her home, with Mrs. H. M. Weight, club president, in charge. Mrs. Mae Huntington gave a talk entitled, "Treasure Trails of Art", and Mrs. F. C. Packard entertained en-tertained with vocal numbers and Lynette Madsen and Marilyn Clark, a piano duet. During the election, Mrs. W. W. Brockbank was chosen president, Mrs. Milton Harrison, vice-president; Mrs. Erwin Sheffield, secre-ary; secre-ary; Mrs. E. V. Crandall, corresponding corre-sponding secretary; Mrs. Sterling Price, treasurer; Mrs. G. W. Men-denhall Men-denhall and Mrs. A. C. Bird, executive exec-utive committee; Mrs. Emil Ostlund Ost-lund and Mrs. Wm. L. Schreiner, health chairmen; Mrs: B. F. Krause, press chairman; Mrs. Kenneth Condie, song leader; Mrs. Wm. Witney, accompanist; Mrs. H. M. Weight, Art chairman; Mrs. W. W. Clyde, historian; Mrs. M. R. Straw, parliamentarian; Mrs. Myron Childs, program chairman, chair-man, to be assisted by Mr. Earl Condie and Mrs. F. C. Packard. During the afternoon the hostess hos-tess served a nicely arranged lunch. |
