Show CHURCHES... ' Second Ward ... Directed by the ward bishopric, a fine program is planned for the Second ward Sunday evening, beginning be-ginning at 7:30 p. m. It will include in-clude violin selections by Gordon Childs, piano numbers by Mrs. Mary Boyer, together with a talk by Glenn Sumsion of the stake presidency. Sixth Ward... Arrangements have been made to have Lt. Vernon Tipton, who recently arrived home from a German Ger-man prison 1 camp, speak at the meeting of the Sixth ward Sunday evening, beginning at 7:45 p. m., announces Bishop Erwin Sheffield. Mrs. Annie Forshee will give a piano solo; Wm. Schreiner, a vocal solo and Mrs. Wm. Schreiner, a reading. The meeting will be in the Fourth ward chapel, and all ward members are asked to attend. at-tend. Third Ward ... Mrs. Blanch Beal will be the principal speaker at the Third ward Sunday evening meeting, under direction of the bishopric. Musical numbers are also planned and the eeting is at 7 p. m. Fifth Ward... Relief Society A Relief Society meeting will be conducted in the Second ward at 2 p. m., Monday for members of the Fifth ward. All are urged to be present. The Payson Fourth ward will present the proram in the Fifth ward meeting Sunday evening, announces an-nounces Bishop J. Y. Bearnson. The program is arranged on an exchange ex-change plan, and following the Fifth ward meeting which begins at 6 p. m., the Fifth ward will go to the Payson Fourth to give a program beginning at 8 p. m. The Fifth ward meeting will include in-clude a talk by Ed Cutler of Pay-son, Pay-son, together with several musical numbers by the Nebo chorus. Leon Fullmer of the Payson Fourth ward bishopric, will be in charge of the meeting, to which all members mem-bers of the ward are invited. At the meeting to be presented by the Fifth ward in Payson, Paul Thorn will speak and several fine musical numbers have been arranged. ar-ranged. Bishop Bearnson also announces a ward welfare meeting to be conducted con-ducted at 11:30 a. m., Sunday in the Seminary building. Fourth Ward . . . Sacrament meeting in the 4th ward will feature Bishop Selvoy J. Boyer, Second ward, as the speak- et. Bishop Glenn Christensen also announces regular Sunday School of the Fourth ward, begininng at 9:30 a. m. RELIEF SOCIETY . . . The Fourth and Sixth ward Relief Re-lief Society organizations will meet at the Fourth ward next Tuesday, July 10, at 2 p. m. Mrs. Mae Huntington will give a book review and cooking and canning suggestions will also be given. All members of both Relief Societies i and others interested, are urged I to be present. |
