Show KIWANIS TO GIVE FINE PROGRAM IN SIXTH WARD An interesting program will be presented in the Sixth ward Sunday Sun-day evening beginning at 7:30 p. m., under direction of the Ki-winas Ki-winas club, with J. Y. Eearnson in charge. The program is one of a series being presented by the Kiwanis Ki-wanis club in the various wards of the stake, in a project to support churches in their spiritual aims. The program in the Sixth ward will include, a vocal duet by Harrison Har-rison Conover and Tom Smith; a talk on "How the Kiwanis Club Contributes to the Spiritual Aims of the Community," by Flnley Roy-lance; Roy-lance; a talk on "How The School Can Impart Better Spiritual Values Val-ues to Students," Reese Anderson. Emil Ostlund will speak on the subject, "The Ideals of A Good Citizen; E. S. Groesbeck on "What My Religion Means to Me." Dr. C. W. Judd will review the "Seven Reasons Why A Scientist Believes In God," and George Bird will talk on the subject, "Is Christianity Chris-tianity Failing To Meet the Needs of its Adherents." Paul Walker will give a review of the article in the Readers Digest, entitled, "Brother Jean Farms for Souls." All members of the ward and others interested in hearing the fine program, are invited to attend the meeting. |
