Shortages, complications of rationing, the fact that many of their number are in the armed services, make their job today more difficult than ever. Despite all of this the retail selling job has its high : rewards! Good retail salespeople like their workl They like ! to meet and serve people I They take pride in each ! sale well made! And they know that on the home j front they support the war effort by helping to j maintain our high standard of living.
