Show SPRINGVILLE GIRLS JOIN U.S. AIR WACS Three Springville girls have joined the Air WACs and plan to leave on Jan. 7 for their basic training. They are Betty Cranmer, daughter of Mrs. William Obye; Dorothy Barron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Barron, and Ber-nice Ber-nice Cha3er, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Chader. Bernice is a former student of the U.S.A.C., Logan, and has also been attending the Brigham Young university. Dorothy has graduated graduat-ed from the L. D. S. Business college, col-lege, and has also attended the B. Y. U. Betty is a former student stud-ent of the B. Y. U. All are graduates gradu-ates of rhe local high school. The girls will go to Fort Des Moines, Iowa, for their five weeks-of weeks-of basic training and then expect to be stationed at an Army Air Corps base. |
