Show w eirce-ean Carriage Event Of Dec. 24 A wedding of interest to friends and relatives here, is that of Margaret Mar-garet Peirce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. June Peirce of this city, and Charles Edwin Dean, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Dean of Provo. The marriage took place on December De-cember 24, at the mission home in Denver, Colo., with President Elbert R. Curtis officiating. Attending At-tending the bride and groom were Miss Jane Wainwright, who accompanied ac-companied Miss Peirce to Denver, Art Bird, stationed near Denver with the Armed Forces, and Mrs. Curtis, wife of the mission president. presi-dent. The bride wore an attractive brown suit with gold-colored accessories, ac-cessories, and an orchid corsage. Miss 'Wainwright wore a corsage of yellow sweetheart roses and Mrs. Curtis, a corsage of gardenias garde-nias and pink rosebuds. After the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds and members of their party were entertained at dinner in town. The bride recently filled a mission mis-sion in the western states where she met Mr. Dean who was also fulfilling a mission at the same time. The groom is an aviation student stud-ent in the Army Air Corps and before going into the Armed Forces, Forc-es, he attended college in Colorado where he later taught school. Mrs. Dean returned to Springville Spring-ville Monday, and will make her home here for the present. |
