The name of the writer will not be published and will not in any way be made known but must be known to the management. Religious Reli-gious opinions or comments directed direct-ed in too personal manner, however, how-ever, will not be published. In the Herald today is found the first published comment and is one of several submitted from time to time. It is an example of what the forum will run weekly. An invitation is extended to everyone to air their opinion on any subject in which they see some improvement might be made. Mail or bring your comment to the Herald. FORUM: I was very much interested in the remarks of the weekly paper in regard to the people of Springville Spring-ville taking an interest in their town and trying to keep it clean and beautiful. I have heard many times that the people of Springville were as much concerned in making their back streets look as nice as the main part of town. To my notion I think we deserve that praise after the way we struggle to keep the streets and yards clean. You, "Mr. Store Man of Springville" Spring-ville" I know you would like to keep us trading at home. You are very busy; why, you even pay money to have bills printed advertising ad-vertising your wonderful products. Then again you pay money to have those bills strewn over streets and yards. You discourage instead of encourage en-courage the idea of keeping our trade. By the time we have finished finish-ed picking up all those bills we are so tired and so provoked with the sender of them, we wouldn't buy from you on a bet. Be good Americans! Save paper! And keep Springville's yards clean! Springville Housewife. |
