Show OPEN HOUSE SET BY PHYSICAL ED. DEPT. MONDAY Approximately 400 Students To Take Part In Demonstration Of Exercises The Springville junior and sen-1 lor mgn scnooi pnysicai education departments are holding "open house" to all parents, friends and anyone interested in sports demonstrations dem-onstrations and dancing, on Monday Mon-day at 8 p. m. in the high school gymnasium. Approximately 400 students will participate in the program. The theme of the evening's demonstration dem-onstration will emphasize how to keep fit and in good physical condition con-dition through exercise, sports, dancing, and recreation. In the sports program, there are several championship games in the intramural program in paddle pad-dle tennis, badminton, shuffle-board, shuffle-board, table tennis, and girls' basketball, all of which promise to be fast, exciting, and well played. There will also be demonstrations of several new games. In the dancing program will be seen some lovely Viennese waltzing, waltz-ing, as well as a special group who will show some special dancing danc-ing mixers that would add to your next dancing party. 1 In recreation, prepare to have some fun and watch for some novelty no-velty events that will be special fast relays. The girls will present their tumbling team in pyramids, divese, new flops, and breath-taking balances. The cowboy dancers will be back again, this time with 32 dancers. The girls have lovely new dresses and their performance perform-ance is well worth seeing. The program is free to the public pub-lic - but buy yourself a defense stamp at the door. The program is under the direction di-rection of Norda F. Gardner, Art Hughes and Art Gilbert. |
