Show What's Doing In Kiwanis Marking the silver anniversary of Kiwans, tonight's meeting will feature a special program in observance ob-servance of the 2 5th year completed com-pleted by Kiwanis International. G. Lowry Anderson will be toastmaster, and the meeting will be in' charge of President W. W. Clyde, who will read a message from the International president of Kiwanis. Carl Nelson will direct the singing, sing-ing, and Joseph Olsen will offer prayer. Milt Harrison will give a short talk on the history of the Springville Kiwanis club. Allan Johnson, immediate past president of the Provo Kiwani club, will give the main address of the evening eve-ning on the subject, "Kiwanis Looking Forward." The final number will be a re-dedication pledge led by Ray Richards. Jack Bearnson of the Kiwanis education and membership committee, com-mittee, will induct three new members and six former ones who are now rejoining into the club. The new members are Dr. Preston Hughes, Otto Siliberman and Dr. G. B. Orton. Former members who are now rejoining are Dr. John R. Anderson, Dr. George A. Anderson, An-derson, Myron Childs, W. H. Anderson, An-derson, and Paul Haymjond. Kiwanis last week featured an address by Jacob Coleman and was a homecoming meeting with a number of former Kiwanlans in attendance. Harold Christonsen was toastmaster, and Elmo Coff-man Coff-man sang a solo, "The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise." |
