Show Sportsmen To Hold Annual Jamboree at Park Ro'She . . Membership Cards May Be Secured From Officers of Local Organization For Big Annual Event at Local Resort Beginning at 8 p. m. Saturday night, May 10, the annual Utah county sportsmen's jamboree will be held at Park Ro-She. The iamboree is free to all members and those who do not have membership cards may obtain ob-tain them from local officers Jay Strong, president; Maurice Anderson, vice-president; or Glen Hansen, secretary. The program will include boxing box-ing matches, acrokatic stunts, and an outstanding floor show. Hyrum Gus, Salt Lake City wildlife fan, will be master of ceremonies, and Tie will be the first "emcee" in several years to be brought in from out of the county to take charge. One of the most varied programs ever presented to the jamboree has also been lined up, Chairman R. E. Tyler has announced. In addition to the vaudeville acts 14 of them. three boxing bouts are being arranged by Lou Petro. The rink at Park Ro-She will be utilized not only for the bouts but for the variety acts. This year the concessions are being run by the county organization organiza-tion and not the locals. Following the jamboree, the proceeds will be pro-rated back to each local association as-sociation in the county. Annually, this popular affair attracts at-tracts more than 1500 sportsmen. |
