Show GENE L. BAKER KILLED VIRGINIA Gene Leroy Baker, 2 3, was killed kill-ed Sunday night at 11:30 p. m. in an auto accident in Alexandria, Virginia. He was seriously injured when his car collided with a bus and was immediately taken to a local hospital, where he died. Mr. Baker had been living in Washington, D. C, where he work-Mi work-Mi as a junior chemist at the bureau bu-reau of standards, and he was also a student at the George Washing-Ion Washing-Ion university. He had been on a short week-end trip when the accident acci-dent occurred. He was born June 6, 1917, a son of Lambert L. and Grace Spratling Baker. He was a graduate of the Springville high and had attended "figliam Young university. Surviving are his parents, one sister, Mrs. LareU Johnson, PringviUe; and grandparents, Mr. a"d Mrs. Frank Spratling, West Jordan. Funeral services will be held nday at 2 p. m. in the Third wd, and the body can be viewed , alte'' 10 a. m, Sunday until the services at the family residence, 8 west Fourth North, and prior 10 that time the body can be view-a view-a at the Claudin funeral home.
