Show 'CIVIC CLUBS TO ' HEAR TALK BY SEW. THOMAS Meeting Scheduled For This Evening At 8 P. M., At Memorial Hall i ' v All Kiwanis club', mmbers and their partners, members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the senior Chamber of Commerce and their partners vill assemble it Memorial hall this evening at 8:00 p. m., to hear Senator Elbert D. Thomas speak on, "Winning the Peace," a timely subject in which all are interested. The meeting is sponsored by the Kiwanis club on their regular meeting date and will be under direction of W. W. Brockbank, president. Wm. Schreiner, toast-master toast-master lor the evening, is in charge of the program, and in addition ad-dition to the principal talk, musical musi-cal numbers will be given. Secretary Clarence Jensen announces an-nounces that the time is drawing near for another club election and that a nomination chairman will have ballots ready for mailing within the next two weeks. The primary "lection has been set for Oct. 26 and the final election for Nov. 9. |
