Show MONDAY DESIGN ATED CLEAN-UP DAY x . . w - ririTTA at ttni m y CIVIC CLUBS TO COOPERATE IN CLEANING CITY Cooeratiiig in the annual clean-up, paint-up, fix-up day which always precedes the annual owning of the National Art Exhibit, Ex-hibit, the Springville Chamber of Commerce, Springville City, Junior Jun-ior Chamber of Commerce, Ki-wanis Ki-wanis Club, schools, ami other civic organizations will join in a city-wide camwiign to improve the apjwarance of the city by cleaning clean-ing streets, yards, and premises. Schools and business houses will be closed until noon so that everyone may join in. To begin the day members of the Springville Spring-ville Chamber of Commerce, Ki-wanis Ki-wanis club, and Junior Chamber of Commerce will have breakfast together at the Memorial hall at 7 a. m. It is desired that on Clean-up day everyone rake their yards and clean up all debris collected during dur-ing the winter months, and haul it to the public dump grounds. In many cases the planting of trees or shrubs is helpful in obstructing ob-structing from view unsightly or uncared for outbuildings which might not be otherwise improved. Grounds can be much improved by cleaning and planting. Every citizen is asked to do his part in beautifying the town, so that visitors who come to Springville, Spring-ville, "the art city," during the ! month of April and the rest of the year will find the town as clean and beautiful as it is reputed re-puted to be. |
