Show II. S. ASSEMBLIES OUTSTANDING Three outstanding assemblies have been given recently for the entertainment of the Springville high school. Wednesday morning an outstanding program was provided pro-vided by approximately one hundred hun-dred girls representing the women's wo-men's glee club of the University of Utah, among whom were Pauline Paul-ine Clyde and Mary Louise Win-gate, Win-gate, graduates of Springville high. Last week Captain Cook, who is a deep sea diver, told of his thrilling thrill-ing adventures in the deep, in a national assembly. He told of the plant and animal life beneath the sea and the hazards. Another interesting musical program was furnished by the L. D. S. business college, featuring Dorothy Kimball and Lovell Hicks, a marimba player, who recently re-cently won the Deseret News "Search for Talent" contest. |
