Two or three basketball games are being planned and as an added attraction, plans are under way to assemble members of two high school basketball teams that captured cap-tured state championship titles in basketball, for an exhibition game. Old time fans will thrill to see Wick Weight, Glen Sumsion, Bill Brown,, and Kenneth Weight again together as a team playing Paul Thorn, Frank Cranmer, Burgess Bur-gess Sumsion, Lloyd Bird, Louis Clark, and Jack Martain. Other possibilities for games are matches between the First Ward M Men and possibly the regular high school team. Hay Richards, president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Ar-deen Ar-deen Van-Luvan, ardent coach of the game, have been assigned to assemble teams. One of the major attractions scheduled for the art benefit will be acts furnished by the Stewart Sisters. The girls are professional acrobatics, contortionists, and dancers, and their recent performance per-formance given at the high school has occasioned a number of fine tributes as to their fine talent. The high school pep club and band will furnish pep and music and the entire gymnasium is expected ex-pected to rock when the large crowd that is expected gives out with "Hail, Hail, the Gang's all here!" The entire city is sponsoring the entertainment, with Mayor Thorn directly in charge. To avoid conflicts, Mayor Thorn asks that all organizations dispense with entertainments on that night so that all citizens of Springville will be free to attend the benefit. The purpose of the show is to provide additional funds for the Art Board to use in maintaining the Annual Art Exhibit at its former for-mer standard.
