Show BENNION, EVANS, EDMONDS SPEAK AT CONFERENCE Home Missionary And Welfare Work Discussed Representatives of tht church general authorities at the Spring Kolob Stake Quarterly conference held Saturday and Sunday in the Fourth ward were Samuel O. Ben-nion Ben-nion and Richard L. Evans of the First Council of Seventy and Clyde C. Edmonds of the Church Welfare Wel-fare Committee, with Kolob Stake President J. Emmett Bird in charge. The visiting speakers discussed some, home' missionary and welfare wel-fare work. Other conference speakers were John Patrick, Rex Larson, Carl Peterson, Max Alle-man, Alle-man, and Bert Strong, returned missionaries; Bishop A. G. Peterson Peter-son of the First ward, C. G. Salisbury Salis-bury and A. W. Harmer of the stake presidency; Mrs. Hannah M. Clyde, stake Relief Society president. Music for the morning session was presented by the Fourth ward choir, with a vocal solo by Miss Evelyn Boyer. The Relief Society Singing Mothers of Kolob stake gave the musical numbers for the afternoon session. The closing session Sunday night featured a program conducted con-ducted by the scouts and scouters of Kolob district under the direction direc-tion of Chairman C. G. Salisbury. |
