Show 89th Birthday ff;' Observed by ms.W.G.cBlack Mrs. W. G. Black, Utah pioneer active in church work, celebrated her eighty-ninth birthday Sunday at her regular household duties for herself and husband. Many friends, relatives and neighbors called during dur-ing the day to extend birthday greetings. Mrs. Black was born in Salt Lake City, March 26, 1855, and has lived at various times at Pan-aca. Pan-aca. Nev., Virgin, St. Georere, North Point, Richfield, and Logan, before coming to Springville. Her first husband, William A. Barron, to whom she was married October 12, 1872, in the Salt Lake endowment house, died in 1925, and she later married William G. Black, in the Salt Lake temple. Mrs. Black is the mother of eleven sons and daughters, with seven living. They are: Mrs. Minerva Mi-nerva Gillette, Phoenix, Ariz.; Virgil Vir-gil Barron, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. E. J. Norton and J. -Clifford. Barron, Salt Lake City; F. Henry Barron, Pocatello, Ida.; George L. Barron, Springville; A. C. Barron, San Francisco, Calif. |
