Show JAYCEES APPOINT-NEW APPOINT-NEW SECRETARY AND TREASURER Bond Winnor To Re Announced At Regular Meet, April 6 Ray Klauck has been appointed secretary and Ernest Holt has been appointed treasurer, of the Junior Chamber of Commerce for the coming: year. This is the first vear since the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Springville was organized or-ganized that these two offices have been filled by appointment. The new method of filling: these two offices was passed upon by the club at a recent meeting. The first board meeting with the new officers will be held tonight to-night at 8 p. m. At this meeting, the various committee chairmen and committee members for the new year will be selected, as wiJl also the color captains for the color col-or groups of the club. Other topics pertaining to the club's activities for the coming year will be discussed. The next regular meeting of the Junior Chamber will be held on April 6, at 8 p. m., in Memorial, hall. The speaker for the evening eve-ning will be O. D. Wight, president of the Utah National Park Council of Boy Scouts of America. His topic will be, "Allied Governments." Govern-ments." At this meeting, the winner of a $50 war bond will be announced. This bond is being given away in connection with the drive to raise funds for sending the Springville Herald to every person in the armed forces from Springville. Ralph Child is chairman of the drive. |
